Holiday Club

Holiday Club

What is it?

Holiday Club at Morecambe Parish Church is a themed week of Christian-based activities which takes place during August each year. This will be our 25th year and we regularly have 40-50 children each time, supervised by an enthusiastic team of adults and young helpers.

Who can come?
All children aged 5 – 11 years old are eligible to attend and you don’t have to be a member of Morecambe Parish Church or Poulton-le-Sands school.

We charge £10 per child for the week (for families £10 for first child and £5 per additional child) This covers buying of craft materials and refreshments. Each day’s session runs from 10am – 12.30pm in the War Memorial Hall on Church Street.

What Happens?

Previous themes have included Doctor Who, the Olympic Games, the story of Daniel and God's Big Expedition, following the Kingdom Footprints of Peter, Philip, Stephen, Saul and Timothy as they spread the Good News of Jesus.

This year our theme was Rocky's Plaice where learned how Peter took the message he had learned from Jesus out into the wider world. We explored Peter's story through drama, crafts and music-based worship.
