Holiday Club

Holiday Club

What is it?

Holiday Club at Morecambe Parish Church is a themed week of Christian-based activities which takes place during August each year. This is our 21st year and we regularly have 40-50 children each time, supervised by an enthusiastic team of adults and young helpers.

Our theme this year is the story of Daniel from the Old Testament, so come and join us on the Starship Trinity on a Journey into the Unknown to discover what life was like for Daniel and his friends. Download a registration form here.

Who can come?

All children aged 5 – 11 years old are eligible to attend and you don’t have to be a member of Morecambe Parish Church or Poulton-le-Sands school. We charge £7.00 per child for the week – this covers buying of craft materials and refreshments. Each day’s session runs from 10am – 12.30pm. Just complete the downloadable form to register.

What Happens?

Each day includes hearing a Bible story, watching a drama connected to the story, singing, games, craft activities and, of course, making some new friends.
Previous themes have included Grand Prix, Monsters Stink (based on Monsters Inc), Doctor Who and  last year's Olympic Games based event.

When Does It Take Place?

Monday 12th August - Friday 16th August plus Sunday 18th August 2013.
