HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE DIARY
Christian Aid Week 13-19 May 2012
This key week for raising awareness and funds for Christian Aid includes a special all-age service on Sunday 13 May at 10am, our door to door collections and also an opportunity to donate through envelopes provided with the parish magazine. This year's theme is "let's give the tools".
Eucharist for Ascension Day, Thu 17th May.
There will be a parish Eucharist to celebrate the Ascension at 7.30pm at Morecambe Parish Church.
Tuesday Group
We're following up our Lent course with some more evenings for discussion, bible study, fellowship and prayer, called Tuesday Group. Meeting dates are:

7.30pm in the War Memorial Cafe. All are welcome - whether or not you have attended the Lent Course.
All-Age Worship review
We're starting to look at our all-age services, and how we might develop them to be more open and hospitable to those who are unfamiliar with our more formal services, and also those who may be put off by it being a eucharist every time. Mike has written about worship for the June magazine

Jubilee Picnic
On Sunday 3rd June, we're joining in the record attempt on the Promenade for the longest street party. There'll be MPC, Messy Church and Uniformed organisation tables from our community.
